Learn the simple joys of saving your own seeds in this class covering the techniques and reasons to save your own seeds. Save your favorites, maintain old varieties and close the loop on your gardening practices. Learn harvesting, winnowing, wet and dry seed saving methods and proper seed storage from Bill Thorness, Master Gardener and co-coordinator of the Washington State Seed Library Network. Bill is also author of the books Cool Season Gardener and Edible Heirlooms, which will be available for purchase ($20 cash or check) after the talk.
