Plants are Back in Landscape Architecture: The Increasing Diversity of Plants in Public & Private Projects, presented by Richard Hartlage. Richard is the founding principal and owner of Land Morphology, www.landmorphology.com, a landscape architecture firm working on residential, commercial, public, and botanic garden projects throughout the world. His award-winning, innovative designs are renowned as emotive, immersive spaces that incorporate sophisticated horticulture, artful detailing, and historical knowledge that heighten the human experience of the natural world. He has given over 450 lectures worldwide, teaches planting design in the University of Washington’s School of Built Environments, and has contributed to six books on horticulture and landscape architecture.
