Basic Tree Pruning

Taught by Ingela Wanerstrand from Plant Amnesty. This class will cover basic cuts and tree physiology, followed by some basics on fruit trees and Japanese Maples. Learn how to approach and look at some of your favorite trees, how to encourage or slow growth, and how to know when to put the pruners down and appreciate their natural beauty. This class will be considered as an extra credit option in the Master Pruner Certificate program and/or WSNLA CEUs.
