Creative iPhoneography Workshop

Wednesday August 16

3:00 PM  –  8:00 PM

Learn how to craft creative, expressive flower and garden images using nothing more than your iPhone! Join award-winning California-based professional photographer, Charles Needle, in this fun, interactive hands-on workshop at the Bellevue Botanical Garden during the peak of summertime bloom. The workshop begins with an in-depth classroom lecture covering some of the technical aspects of iPhoneography (equipment and accessories). Then Charles will show you some of the hidden camera features on your iPhone, demonstrate key capture and editing apps "live," and cover basic editing apps, as well as more advanced special-effect apps.

After a half-hour dinner break (dinner is provided as part of your registration fee), Charles will lead you into the Garden where you'll have a chance to apply what you learned. Charles will offer 1-on-1, hands-on help while encouraging you to expand your creative vision. The final hour will be spent back in the classroom where you'll share a few images with the group on the big screen and discuss ways to improve. Membership status will be verified upon registration.
