Taught by Yvonne Palka. Learn some of the basics of Sumi (Asian brush painting) as we paint common animals that might live in your garden (birds, rabbits, mice, dragonflies, snails) plus a few flowers to keep them company. Using brush and ink on paper, you will learn to capture the spirit and essence of these animals in a few simple strokes. We will also visit a garden in China and paint panda bears, monkeys and perhaps even dragons hiding in the bamboo! All supplies included. Suitable for families with children ages 8 and above. Membership status will be verified upon registration.
