Ferns for All

This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday May 19

12:00 PM  –  2:00 PM

Ferns are ancient and overlooked - despite being everywhere. We will talk about what makes them cool and useful in our gardens. They are interesting on their propagation too and we’ll see how to make more. Of course, George will have a list of the best ones, as well as maybe a few less than inspired species. The interesting fern-focused stumpery will be touched on as it continues to make a resurgence in the region. Slides and handouts will start the class, followed by a walk and talk in the Garden to appreciate how ferns are used in the landscape.
