Flower Hour: The Dahlia Display

This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday September 14

5:00 PM  –  6:00 PM

Join us in the Garden after work for a relaxed but informative hour at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.  Roger Walker, with the Puget Sound Dahlia Association, will walk you through the annual Dahlia Display at the Garden which has been planted and maintained by the PSDA since 1993. Sun-loving dahlias provide a kaleidoscope of color from high summer through fall. The tubers are dug and stored every October; old favorites and exciting new cultivars are planted each spring. The Puget Sound Dahlia Association is dedicated to growing, hybridizing, exhibiting, and conducting research on dahlias in the Northwest region of the United States. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
