Thomas Rainer will present a powerful alternative to traditional horticulture—designed plantings that function more like natural systems. Join us either in-person or online to learn how to create more functional adaptive plantings. Thomas Rainer is one of the three principal judges for the Northwest Flower and Garden Festival as well as a leading voice in ecological landscape design. His landscape designs include the U.S. Capitol grounds, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and The New York Botanical Garden. He is co-author of Planting in a Post-Wild World.
