Garden d'Lights Orientation

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Garden d’Lights? How are those critters and light displays built? And what does it take to install and repair them? Well, here's your chance! Join the Garden d’Lights team at a FREE orientation where we will answer these questions, demonstrate our techniques, and more. You’ll view partially constructed lights, then join a small group that will work with a member of the Garden d’Lights build team who will show you how the features are built. Everyone will be able to bunch lights onto a rod and use a cable tie to anchor them in place. We will also show you how we repair lights—those of you with an electrical or woodworking background will be interested to see the tools and techniques. Unfortunately, you will not be able to leave with the results, but you are welcome to join the team as it starts to prepare for the 2018 Garden d’Lights season!

Limited to 75 individuals, aged 16 or older (younger kids okay, if accompanied by adult). FREE, but you must sign up to reserve your spot.
