Taught by Adam Romero in partnership with the WSU Extension King County Master Gardener Program. Do you want to start gardening but don’t want to use any pesticides? Are you already a gardener and looking for ways to reduce your chemical use in your garden? This talk explores how to use fewer chemicals in home gardens. It begins with an overview of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for both food and ornamental plants with an emphasis on non-chemical management techniques. It then covers practical measures and philosophical approaches for the home gardener striving to use fewer chemicals.
