Great Garden Trees

This event is no longer on sale.

Wednesday January 25

6:30 PM  –  8:30 PM

Trees have been called the backbone of the garden. These long-lived plants set the stage for the landscape and provide multiple aesthetic and environmental benefits. How we choose and plant them affects future success and longevity. This class will help all gardeners to choose the best specimens and species for seasonal beauty and adaptability to the Northwest climate. Essential care practices and how to avoid the most common mistakes made in gardening with trees will also be covered. Christina Pfeiffer holds degrees in horticulture from Michigan State and the University of Washington, is an ISA Certified Arborist, a frequent speaker at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show, and led landscape management efforts for the Holden and Washington Park Arboretums. Membership status will be verified upon registration.
