Mindfulness in the Garden: Creating Calm Within

Taught by Deborah Wilk, LMFT, and Jessica Volpentesta, LMHC. Join other women in restoring your mind, body and spirit, and let the stress and demands of daily life melt away as you experience the healing powers of nature. As you stroll slowly through the quiet trails of the Garden, Deborah and Jessica will help you experience the outdoors in a whole new way. Integrating elements of mindfulness-based meditation, brain science, and Shinrin Yoku (Japanese Forest Bathing), you will gain essential skills to create calm within. Participants will be offered a handout listing a variety of mindfulness skills, which they can easily practice in their daily life.
