Taught by Rohini Mathur. Let your creativity soar in the beautiful setting of the Bellevue Botanical Garden. In this painting workshop, you will create a colorful Mixed Media Floral Garden painting with a fluttering hummingbird. Learn how to simplify shapes, color theory concepts, and create paintings that look fresh and joyful. We will be exploring art mediums such as water-soluble pencils and acrylics along with techniques in mark making, mixed media layering, and paper collage. After taking this class, participants will be able to use skills such as painting with bold-loose brushstrokes, underpainting, layering, composition basics and mixing a strong color palette. This class is suitable for all skill levels. All supplies included.
