Our speaker, Michael McCoy, completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany before deciding to become a professional gardener in the 1980s. He lived and worked with Christopher Lloyd at Great Dixter before beginning his own garden design business in the mid 1990s. Michael has written for the press for over 30 years, has published three books on gardening and design, hosts a television show based on professional garden design in Australia, runs an award-winning website named The Gardenist, and leads international tours of the greatest and most influential gardens in the world. Join us as Michael shares the latest new directions in planting design.
